ADVISORYINVESTORS

For investors & asset owners

You own the asset — and we're willing to take a stake in the outcome.

High-tech agriculture is a strong asset class with an unforgiving execution problem: returns are made or lost in design detail and daily operations. We take investors from first feasibility to a farm running at spec.

Three stages — from study to steady state

STAGE 01

Feasibility & bankability

A study written the way capital reads — and modelled with the proprietary tools we use to site and design our own farms.

  • Location screening: solar, climate, water and logistics simulated against crop economics to find the site that maximises returns
  • Optimal climate-intervention mix — cooling, screening, CO₂, lighting — simulated against CAPEX and input costs, not guessed
  • Market and offtake analysis from live price tracking — who buys, at what price, year-round
  • Bankable business case and investment memorandum support
STAGE 02

Development

Full project development: design, permitting, procurement, contracting and financing support — by the team that developed the most technically advanced CEA facility on the continent.

  • High-performance greenhouse design, engineered for your climate
  • Permitting, stakeholder engagement and local structuring
  • Procurement and construction management
  • At-risk development available — our fees converted to equity, so we win when you do
STAGE 03

Implementation & operation

We commission the facility, staff it, train it and run it on your behalf — under a management agreement with full transparency.

  • Commissioning and ramp-up to design yields
  • Recruitment and structured training of the operating team
  • Precision growing operations — 20–30× open-field yields
  • Live performance dashboards: yields, sales and OPEX against budget, in real time

The technology included in every partnership

PARTNER ACCESS // 04 SYSTEMS

Your programme gets more than advice. It gets our operating layer.

All partners gain access to the same proprietary systems we use to select, design and run our own farms—from decision-grade climate simulation to real-time performance, fulfilment and workforce training.

The toolkit behind the study

We don't estimate the best investment. We simulate it.

Most feasibility studies assemble assumptions from literature and vendor quotes. Ours are generated by the proprietary tools we built to site, design and run our own farms — and calibrated against a facility that is producing today.

TOOL 01

Climate optimisation engine

A multimodal simulator that tests your candidate locations and every mix of climate interventions — cooling, screening, lighting, CO₂ — against yield, CAPEX and input costs. The output: the site and design configuration with the strongest investment case, before a single euro of engineering spend.

TOOL 02

Market tracker

Real-time tracking of fresh-produce prices across target markets. It drives crop selection toward what actually earns, sharpens offtake negotiations, and stress-tests the revenue line of your business case with live data rather than annual averages.

TOOL 03

Live operating data

Every model is calibrated against real performance from our own operating farm — actual yields, actual water and energy use, actual OPEX. Your feasibility study inherits a working facility's track record, and as an operating client you get the same live dashboards we use ourselves.

Skin in the game

We'll co-invest in what we design.

Advisory fees align a consultant to the report. Equity aligns an operator to the result. Where a project meets our standards, Drylands will develop at-risk or co-invest alongside you — the same way we finance and operate our own farms with institutional and development capital.

How an investor engagement runs

  1. STEP 01DAY 1 · NO COST

    Intake

Your thesis, target geography and return requirements — and a frank view on whether the project is worth studying at all.

  2. STEP 022–3 WEEKS

    Desktop screening

A fixed-fee red-flag review of site, market and cost assumptions before you commit to a full study.

  3. STEP 038–12 WEEKS

    Feasibility mandate

The full bankable study — agronomy, engineering, financial model and offtake — built for your investment committee.

  4. STEP 04DEVELOPMENT TO COD · OPERATIONS ONGOING

    Development & operations

We develop, build and operate under mandate — with the option of at-risk development or co-investment where the project earns it.
